So both the main roster and NXT dances with injury. Just few days ago, another NXT Champion went down with injury.

According to PWInsider, NXT Champion Finn Balor suffered a sprained ankle. Hence, he would undergo an assessment exercise to determine the very extent of the injury and its severity.

And a quarter of people are saying that the injury might have occurred as a result of the finisher Coup de Grace he launched against Samoa Joe during their Saturday match in Nashville.
WWE issued this statement on the same:

NXT Champion Finn Bálor suffered an ankle injury on Saturday during an NXT Live Event in Nashville, Tenn. According to WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann, “Finn Bálor suffered an ankle injury, and will be unable to compete tonight.”

The NXT Champion will undergo further evaluation on Monday, Amann said.

In the meantime, sources have reported that the NXT Champion was seen sporting crutches which by implication disqualifies him from doing any wrestling for the now. We shall get more details over to you as information becomes available to us.
