A new record has just been set-in in the history of the WWE as the company’s popular female diva champion becomes the first female champion to main event a pay-per-view, Raw and SmackDown in singles matches.
Considering her controversial lifestyle and series of sex and nude scandals in recent time, no one would have believed that Charlotte Flair is capable of such a huge accomplishment.
It all happened on Tuesday night when Flair had a tough fight with the SmackDown Women’s champion Naomi in a no contest game at Smack Down Live event. It is no longer a news that Charlotte Flair is the daughter of the popular WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair and she has had many bouts including Sasha Banks and Hell in a cell.
Both Charlotte and Banks were the first women in the history of the WWE to fight it hot at the Hell in a Cell show, as well as the first women ever to have on the main roster an Iron Man match. Recall that the Queen is a four-time Raw Women’s champion, but her she mainly focuses on the SmackDown Women’s title after moving to the blue brand as part of the game plan for Superstar Shake-up.
For Charlotte Flair to reach the peak of SmackDown’s women’s division, however, there is no doubt she will be forced to go through the group of Carmella, Tamina and Natalya.
Big congrats to her for this hard earned achievement.
