Cm Punk Declares Himself Champion On Collision

CM Punk returns to AEW and declares himself the legitimate champion. He’s never lost that title and he makes people wonder what’s in the red bag he always carries with him.

This week on AEW Collision, CM Punk finally revealed what’s in the bag.

CM Punk appears to cut ads in AEW Collision. It was a great moment on TNT, and Tony Schiavone was there to give CM Punk a voice. CM Punk spoke about the All In London event at Wembley Stadium, and he made it clear that what’s in the bag can greatly affect his August 27 game.

Although Tony Schiavone asked about Ricky Starks, He went in a different direction.

He pulled the AEW world championship belt out of that bag, which had his nametag and his blood on it.

He declared himself the champion, and that was clearly a blow to MJF. CM Punk then spray-painted an X on his title belt and raised it above his head.

This drew a huge response from the Hartford crowd. Then the Ricky Starks showed up to join the segment. It was quite a pivotal moment and CM Punk made it clear that he was the AEW World Champion because he was “better than you”.

Only time will tell how AEW delivers All In London, but it’s certainly an interesting twist.
