December 23 WWE UPDATE: WWE Releases Two Superstars From The Company - See WWE Official Statement Issued On The Release

WWE Superstars have a lot of focus on them and one recent report about Kassius Ohno apparently upset him a bit. The man who used to be known as Chris Hero on the indies recently had a report come out about him that he was telling indie wrestling promoters that he would be available for bookings soon enough.

Ohno jumped on Twitter when he heard this report from Bodyslam.net and denied this new information. “You couldn’t be more wrong. Get better sources!” Ohno said before he proceeded to trash Bodyslam further.

To add an extra cherry on top, Ohno then went on to block Ringside News founder Steve From Florida on Twitter. This isn’t the first Superstar to block Steve this week though. He’s okay about it.

We will keep you posted about any new information if it is made available. At this time though, Kassius Ohno claims that he’s not going anywhere.

WWE NXT has a lot of talented Superstars down in the WWE Performance Center and there isn’t room for everyone to make it on television. An NXT Superstar might not be focused on for multiple reasons though. Whatever the logic behind the decision, Kassius Ohno has been largely ignored to a greater extent.

Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net reports that Ohno is rumored to have informed multiple indie wrestling promoters that he may be available to take bookings soon.

According to the source, Ohno is expecting that his time in WWE will over again in the near future. At this time it’s not clear whether he thinks that he will be released or whether his contract is running up.

This is Ohno’s second run with WWE. He was employed by NXT from 2012 to 2013, but he left the company to work the indies until he returned to WWE in December 2016. Since his return, he’s been largely used as an enhancement talent.

You never know what could happen next, but he could be taking bookings as Chris Hero again soon.
