Jade Cargill Says Signing With WWE Wasn’t The Initial Plan

Jade Cargill has already made her mark in the world of professional wrestling through her time in AEW, but now she’s a member of WWE and fans are certainly excited about her potential.

Fans simply lost their minds when WWE announced that they had signed Jade Cargill to a multi-year contract.

Jade Cargill’s signing with WWE also caused backlash from the professional wrestling world.

While speaking with TMZ Sports, Jade Cargill was asked if it was her intention to be with WWE.

Cargill said the plan wasn’t always the same and it took two months of thinking before making a final decision.

”No, not in general (if the plan was to always join WWE).

This was something that I’ve been going back and forth in my head in the like the past couple months, you know,

if this is really what I want to do and taking this leap because you never know, in wrestling, things can go left,

it can go right, it can go up and down and I just took the time — the time I was home — I took the time to really register and determine what I wanted to do in this industry and taking the leap was the best thing I could do.”

Jade Cargill also cited a potential crossover in Hollywood as a reason to sign with WWE.

Cargill will also receive more money than usual for her WWE run. Only time will tell if WWE’s latest acquisition will pay dividends.
