John Cena Griefs Over Tragic Loss Of Bray Wyatt

Fellow WWE player John Cena has issued a heartfelt statement in tribute to his former rival following the tragic death of Bray Wyatt, aka Windham Rotunda, on August 24 at the age of 36.

Cena and Wyatt have had memorable matches in square circles, including a landmark match at WrestleMania 30 in 2014 and a unique Firefly Fun House match at WrestleMania 36 in 20 to mention but a few.

Following the devastating news, Cena took to Twitter to vent his sadness and fond memories of his interaction with Wyndham Rotunda.

“Devastated by the news of the passing of Windham Rotunda.

My heart goes out to the entire Rotunda family. Windham brought the best out of me in so many ways.

I’m forever grateful for the moments we shared. A sad day for all those he reached around the world. RIP.”

Cena’s words reflect the impact and significance the Wyndham Rotunda has had not only on the wrestling industry, but on the lives of those who have worked with it.

The rivalry between the two created a moment that will forever remain in WWE history.
