It is yet another moment of mourning in the world of professional wrestling as another great superstar is dead. He surrendered his soul to a painful death at the Memorial Regional Hospital.
The painful death of Tampa, Florida, based wrestler Richard Delicious whose real name is Wayne van Dyke has been reported; he died at the age of 29 on Sunday night.
He was said to have been rushed to the hospital after he suffered a heart attack during his last bout. According to a source from a fellow wrestler who also worked at that same live show, van Dyke was placed under a medically induced coma immediately he was received at the hospital.
Wayne van Dyke started his career back in 2010 and featured on Florida Independent show for some time fighting every week for the American Combat Wrestling at the Gulfview Event Center. He was a two time champion of Cruiserweight Championship and a winner of Full Throttle Pro Wrestling and Orlando City Wrestling.
His death is a painful one and it has left many to ponder on why such a promising superstar will die at such a tender age.
However, on behalf of all of us at Wrestling News Plus, our sincere thoughts and prayers are with van Dyke and his family at this time. Much like many of the star’s colleges and friends voicing their support on social media, we sincerely hope for the very best possible outcome from this terrible situation.
