Impact Wrestling star Alberto El Patron is rumored to be talking to WWE again, with a possible return on the horizon — but AAA announced today that he’ll be in a match at TripleMania XXVI.

AAA made the announcement during a press conference for their annual event and said he’ll be wrestling another “international luchador” at the show which takes place on August 25.
As for those WWE rumors, PWInsider reports Patron was at WWE headquarters in Stamford last week and met with Vince McMahon. While that might not seem like much of anything, the site claims McMahon is high on the idea of Alberto returning to the company and his Impact contract is up soon.

For what it’s worth … the 40-year-old wrestler has no-showed announced AAA appearances in the past, so it’s always possible that it could happen again if a WWE return goes down.
