Sasha Banks Loses To Ronda Rousey Amid Reports Of Possible WWE Exit, wrestlingnewsplus.com has learnt.
Not long ago, we learned that The Revival had asked for their release. Sasha Banks, a woman who has been sidelined in the recent past teased quitting the company along with the RAW tag team unit.
Fans were stunned to see Sasha Banks and The Revival engage in an interesting chat on Twitter that hinted at Sasha Banks potentially leaving the company. Sasha Banks is currently in the RAW Women’s title feud.
Rousey, who tapped out Banks with a vicious arm bar, delivered arguably the best performance of her career while Banks continued to add to her impressive resume of stellar matches, which has her rising up the ranks as one of the best in-ring performers in the history of the women’s division. Back in November 2018, Rousey told the PWI Podcast (h/t Wrestling Inc) that Banks was her ideal opponent, though she admitted that at the time she wasn’t quite ready for a bout with “The Boss:”
I would really love to wrestle Sasha Banks. I think I’ve just been so impressed watching her work, and see her in the back, and see her work. And I was already a fan of her’s before. I think that we would be able to make something great together and I think she has given a lot of women their best matches ever. But I almost feel like I’m not at the right level yet for her. I really think that we could make something really special and really great, but I don’t know that I’m at the level that’s ready for that yet and I don’t know if the company would ever like that, but in a perfect world, I would definitely love that for sure.
