In a really sad development, that top WWE Superstar has lost a parent owing to cancer. Cancer is a malignant tumor or growth caused when cells multiply uncontrollably, destroying healthy tissue.

The NXT Superstar Kyle O’Reilly’s mother passed away this past week after a lengthy battle with Cancer.

The current NXT Tag Team Champion (the title won by Undisputed Era an unaired NXT Taping) took to Instagram to jolt down a heartfelt tribute to his deceased mother, Janie Elizabeth Greenwood:

The former 3-time ROH Tag Team Champion is currently tearing the house down at NXT as part of the Undisputed Era faction that also includes his friends from Ring of Honor, Bobby Fish and Adam Cole.

Fish and O’Reilly recently won the Tag Team Championship from SAnitY at the latest round of NXT TV tapings. The duo became the first tag team in wrestling history to win the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight, ROH World, and NXT Tag Team Titles.
