WWE aren’t planning on booking Ronda Rousey’s in-ring return as a one-off appearance and instead prefer to pencil her down for a long programme.
Rousey hasn’t been seen in a WWE ring since WrestleMania 35 last April where she suffered her first ever loss to Becky Lynch in a Winner Takes All Triple Threat Match, which also included Charlotte Flair.
The UFC Hall of Famer’s future is very uncertain as she recently claimed that she is now concentrated on starting a family with her husband Travis Browne.
However, the ex-RAW Women’s Champion then shared a video on her YouTube channel where she revealed that she misses the WWE.
The publisher and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer claims that Vince McMahon’s promotion is indeed interested in bringing her back in the near future.
However, the wrestling giants aren’t keen in booking her return as a one-off appearance.
WWE are instead looking to have her come back for a match and potentially a long programme.
That means Rousey won’t be booked in the same manner as fellow UFC legend Brock Lesnar, who makes very rare appearances.
The Rowdy One has been one of WWE’s biggest attractions ever since joining from UFC last year.
The first ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion put together one of the greatest ever debut matches at WrestleMania 34.
Rousey teamed up with fellow Olympian Kurt Angle and together they beat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team Match.
The MMA hero then won the RAW Women’s Championship just four months later at SummerSlam and remained undefeated for an entire year.
The 32-year-old fighter has defeated some of WWE’s biggest stars like Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Alexa Bliss and many more.
