In a recently posted tweet, a reputable WWE legend has claimed that the RETRIBUTION members should be the grandchildren of all the heads of the former territories.
Furthermore, CM Punk even chipped with another interesting suggestion of who the leader of RETRIBUTION should be, as the former WWE Champion ended his tweet by claiming that former WWF star Greg Gagne could be revealed as the group’s leader.
As pointed out by Bryan Alvarez on Sunday’s Wrestling Observer Live, one of the members in the group has hair that matches the hair of someone who was attacked last week when the group debuted on SmackDown.
Alvarez said, “On SmackDown, the woman Retribution member who appeared in the opening segment [when] the lights went out and they came back on and there was a female Retribution member – if you look carefully, you will notice that the ends of her hair are dyed purple.”
Alvarez continued, “Well lo and behold, on the show last week, there was a woman in the crowd who Retribution beat up and in fact, the ends of her hair were purple because, in fact, it was the same woman.
Because the people under the masks are just whoever they’ve got at any given moment. Those are not the actual final Retribution members so they just throw whoever under the mask and if you’re paying attention you can figure out that the person who got beat up last week is actually playing one of the members this week.”
The woman with the purple ends to her hair appears to be Jessi Kamea. The woman with the red hair appears to be Santana Garrett. As Alvarez noted, they may not be the people under the masks when the members get revealed at some point.
There are three people who are believed to be among the leaders in the group. Click here for potential spoiler news on that story.
When Retribution invaded Raw, we could distinctly hear a female voice. This was re-confirmed when the faction invaded SmackDown. Only this time, we got a much clearer view.
The female was seen to have long, brown, and curly hair which have fans convinced that it is an NXT Superstar. This could be none other than Vanessa Borne, who has been out of action for nearly a year.
