Wrestling Legend Jeff Jarrett Finally Reveals Truth Behind Reports He Held Up Vince Mcmahon, WWE

Jeff Jarrett speakJeff Jarrett holding up WWE for money is a report that’s never quite disappeared even though it was over 20 years ago. He finally shares the truth.

Still a part of wrestling trivia and conversations that start, ‘Did it really happen?’, Jeff Jarrett holding up WWE for money is a rumor that’s never quite disappeared.

The alleged incident was rumored to have taken place over 20 years ago and Jarrett finally shares the truth about whether or not he did what everyone thinks he did.

Jeff Jarrett won

There’s been a long-standing rumor Jarrett held Vince McMahon up for around $300K back in 1999. The story goes that his contract was expiring but WWE had accidentally kept The Intercontinental Title around his waist as his deal lapsed.

Wanting him to drop the belt to Chyna on his way out of WWE at a No Mercy PPV, the rumor was he said he wouldn’t do it unless McMahon gave him hundreds of thousands of dollars up front. Jarrett was then ostracized from WWE until recently when he came back to work as a producer.

Jeff Jarrett

Jarrett is finally revealing details of his conversation with Vince and what really went down at the event.

In a recent interview with TalkSport, Jarrett spoke of the rumors and said, “If he didn’t want to pay me, he didn’t have to pay me a cent.” Essentially confirming Vince did pay him a huge sum of money, he framed the narrative differently than how most people have heard it.

Jeff Jarrett

Jarrett noted that the money he was paid was money he was already owed. He said he told Vince, “Pay me everything that you’ve owed me in the past.” He noted at the time Vince owed him bonuses from approximately four months worth of work prior to that October. “I had a lot of money in the pipeline coming,” he said.

Jeff Jarrett wwe

He explained to Vince:

“I said let’s approximate on the payoffs. I’ve got all these house show runs I was on. Let’s come up with a number and let me get out of your hair. I’m obviously not re-signing the offer, and that’s a whole other set of circumstances [laughs]. You go your way and I’ll go my way. It made it easy on everybody.”

Jeff Jarrett

What Jeff didn’t say was whether or not he refused to go perform if Vince said no. That he didn’t say explicitly that means it’s safe to assume he must have.

Jeff Jarrett

So Who Was Right, Jarrett Of Vince?
Clearly, it appears Jarrett did “hold up” Vince, in a manner of speaking. At the same time, it sounds like Jarrett was only trying to get what he believed he was already owed and that his concern was Vince wouldn’t make good on it while asking him to do WWE a favor.

Did Jarrett get a bum rap for this?

The brain of WWE wrestling legend Joan Marie Laurer will be donated to medical research as her manager claims she died from an accidental overdose of Ambien and Valium.

The 45-year-old star, whose real name was Joan Marie Laurer, was found dead in her home in Redondo Beach, California last Wednesday.

Her manager Anthony Anzaldo said on Wednesday that she had been prescribed both the sleeping medication and tranquilizer used to treat anxiety, but she wasn’t taking them properly.

Now Mr Anzaldo has said that Chyna’s brain will be donated to scientists researching the degenerative brain condition chronic traumatic encephalopahty (CTE).

The disease can only be diagnosed after death and experts believe it is caused by repeated blows to the head.

It can cause symptoms similar to those suffering from Alzheimer’s including mood swings, memory loss and rage.

The wrestler’s brain will be examined by Dr Bennet Omalu, who first documented CTE in the brain of NFL players, according to CNN.

He was also portrayed on screen by Will Smith in the 2015 film ‘Concussion’.

Mr Anzaldo told the New York Daily News: ‘We want to donate her brain. We want to know what made her tick.’

CTE has been connected to the deaths of former Chicago Bears player Dave Duerson and San Diego Chargers linebacker Junior Seau.

It comes just days after he claimed he planned to put the WWE star on the TV show Intervention before her death.

Mr Anzaldo said she was was legally prescribed both Ambien, a sleeping aid, and Valium, a tranquilizer used to treat anxiety, over the course of three weeks.

Anzaldo clarified that her death was an accidental overdose, not a suicide. He told the LA Times: ‘You are not going to find 60 pills in her stomach.’

Police in Redondo initially stated her death was a possible overdose or spurred by natural causes.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office deferred the cause of death, saying it could be months before toxicology tests show whether she died of an overdose.

People often misuse Ambien and take higher dosages of the sleeping pill to achieve the same effect, while Valium, used to treat anxiety disorders, alcohol withdrawal symptoms, or muscle spasms is extremely addictive.

Mr Anzaldo told TMZ he was trying to get her help – by striking a deal with producers of the A&E documentary-style production.

He added that the episode would have featured some of her high-profile friends from the WWE, including Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mick Foley.

Chyna had already appeared on Celebrity Rehab in 2008, but she was hospitalized after overdosing on sleeping pills in 2010.

He added that she had been going on an ’emotional journey’ as she filmed a documentary about her life.

‘It’s been very emotional for her these past few months. She was shooting her documentary and at times it was stressful.

‘But she was doing OK. She was doing yoga and a lot of amazing things,’ he said.

Prescription bottles were found in Laurer’s Redondo Beach home, but they were not open and there was no evidence of foul play, illegal drugs, suicide or a suicide note, according to TMZ and The Hamilton Spectator.

The death of the wrestling star, often referred to as the ‘Ninth Wonder of the World’ was announced in a statement, which was posted on her official Twitter account and signed by ‘Felix’.

It said: ‘It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero… the 9th wonder of the world has passed away. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her.’

Redondo Beach Police Officers said they attended the house after receiving a 911 call from a friend.

They said: ‘The Redondo Beach police received a 911 call from a friend of the apartment unit resident that the female inside was not breathing.

‘The friend told [police] that the female had not answered her phone in a few days, and went to the location to check on her welfare.

‘Officers arrived on scene and discovered a deceased female inside the location. From the preliminary investigation, it appears that the deceased passed away prior to being discovered by the friend.’

There are no indications or signs that the death was a result of foul play, officers added.

Storming onto the wrestling scene in 1997, Laurer quickly earned her nickname and her profile on WWE brands her ‘the most dominant female competitor of all time’.

She was the first woman to win the WWE Intercontinental championship, and was the first woman to compete in the organization’s Royal Rumble contest.

Among her many accolades, she boasted victories over leading male wrestlers such as Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero.

Beyond wrestling, which she quit in 2001, Laurer was a vegan and an animal lover.

She also dabbled in acting, and performed in six porn movies between 2004 and 2013. In 2005 she appeared in the reality show The Surreal Life.

And she wrote an autobiography If They Only Knew, which made it onto the New York Times bestseller list.

After her 2010 overdose, Laurer moved to Japan to teach English. It is not clear when she returned to the United States.

Before her death, Laurer posted a 13-minute video on her YouTube page that showed her speaking with a croaked voice, breathing heavily and slurring her words as she made herself a smoothie.

Chyna full name Joan Marie Laurer passed away on 20 April 2016, Redondo Beach, California, United States owing to ‎Drug overdose and her death has been so painful to all in WWE. The WWE family and the entire Universe still refer to Chyna as the greatest or one of the greatest WWE Women’s Champion that has ever lived.

Their only issue with Chyna however boils down to her porn movies “One Night In Chyna” which Chyna later said she regretted doing. MAJOR UPDATE** Former WWE Women’s Champion And Legend Passes Away – May Her Soul Rest In Peace…

Top WWE Women’s Champion has passed away and her death is still leaving the wrestling world cold and sad.

See also: WWE Legend The Undertaker Found Dead In Texas Home (Inside His Bedroom) — Wife Makes Announcement

Having done all to stay alive, it was just so sad to announce that she couldn’t make it, she died. The Diva who has paved way for all other Divas in the WWE was reported dead. The death has become a year now and will thought it wise to bring this as a remembrance to you.

When Chyna was found dead on April 20, 2016, the WWE rushed to pay tribute to the woman who blazed a trail for the Divas and other one-name-only stars to come.

Billed in the 1990s as the “Ninth Wonder of the World” by what was then the World Wrestling Federation, Chyna achieved a new level of fame in that viscerally intense yet over-the-top and theatrically staged phenomenon that is professional wrestling. So of course her fellow stars, her former employer and many fans were heartbroken by the loss.

But Chyna, who was born Joanie Marie Laurer and had also wrestled under the monikers Chyna Doll, Joanie Lee and Just Joanie, hadn’t been in a ring for five years—and she hadn’t been the queen of the wrestling world since the turn of the century.

In between, Chyna became far more famous for her troubles, for outrageous interviews, for doing porn, for her slurring appearances on reality TV. Because just as easy as it was to remember her greatness and star power once she was gone, so it was easy enough to forget about her or treat her as a fallen-star spectacle while she was still here.
