Update On The Rock’s WrestleMania 40 Status
The Rock was booked for WrestleMania 39 at one point. Ringside News reported in 2021 that he was the virtual lock for the event and he later confirmed it.
It looks like fans will have to wait even longer to see The Rock wrestle again, if that’s planned at all.
Wrestling news plus has reached out to confirm that there are still no plans for The Rock to return to action at WrestleMania.
We’re told that “The Rock will always want rumors to spread about him, so it seems like he’s always looking forward to being in the news, which he believes will increase his value there”.
That being said, there is no WrestleMania 40 match in The Great One’s future. Ringside News has learned that Roman Reigns’ match for WrestleMania 40 has been set.
Things can always change, but “The Rock would have to screw a lot of people and a lot of plans for that to happen.” »
The Rock is always welcome in WWE but he is also very busy. He seems to have also realize that at the age of 51, he should no longer step into the ring like before.
Fans will have to wait for The Rock’s next one-off appearance, but don’t put any money on him wrestling at Showcase of the Immortals next year.
