Vince Mcmahon May Step Down From WWE Role Soon

Vince McMahon’s return to WWE to reclaim his power was a series of business moves that should have been taught by the most ruthless teachers of all time.

It’s been a tumultuous year for Vince McMahon, WWE, and his fans. McMahon initially resigned last year amid a hush money scandal, but returned in January.

WWE later reached an agreement with Endeavor and merged with UFC to form TKO.

The merger comes despite ongoing federal investigations into undisclosed payments by McMahon related to last summer’s hush money scandal, which were missing from annual accounts of WWE.

Vince McMahon reportedly paid a minimum of $14.6 million to several women, including former WWE employees, to stay silent about allegations of sexual misconduct and extramarital affairs since 2006 An additional $5 million is said to have gone to the Donald Trump Foundation for Trump’s television appearances in 2007 and 2009.

Jacob Frenkel, chair of Dickinson Wright’s Securities Enforcement and Government Investigations group and a former senior counsel in the SEC’s enforcement division, suggested to the LA Times that McMahon could face charges criminal or civil charges that could lead to him leaving his role in WWE. .

“Depending on the potential findings following the inquiry into Vince McMahon,

McMahon could face criminal and/or civil liabilities that could prevent him from serving as an officer or director of a public company.”

Although federal authorities executed a search warrant and summoned Vince McMahon on July 17, no charges have yet been filed against him.
