According to reports, a couple of maneuvers were botched Nia Jax during her match on Monday Night RAW’s most recent episode (4/10/17) against Charlotte. Of the two above mentioned moves, the first was a shoulder breaker that she launched against her opponent where she dug Charlotte’s head into her knee. This made Charlotte dazed for a while.
Second of it was also failed, came a while before the match ended, when Charlotte attempted her trademark Moonsault off of the top rope towards Jax, who was outside the ring. Jax failed to catch her on the attempted move which in turn led to Charlotte landing with maximum impact on the canvas.
Just in case you were not aware, Nia Jax (Savelina Fanene) has been training as a professional wrestler for less than three years. Nia has been under constant scrutiny owing to her inexperience as a performer ever since she made her main card debut.
However, the heart of the matter now is, in what seems to fans as an incident that’s genuinely baffling and scary in equal measures, the 6’0” 270 pound Nia Jax is said to have narrowly escaped from legitimately breaking her opponent’s neck or at the very least causing a concussion. The first accident occurs at the 10-seond mark in the video.
Once again, the Superstar has been said to have failed in the very match up by failing to catch an attempted moonsault which led to Charlotte crashing outside the ring head-first. This occurred in the 20-second marks. Though there has been no report of Charlotte being injured.
The Youtube video below shows highlights of the above mentioned matchup as well as the incidents:
Meanwhile, Flair was defeated by Jax through a pinfall in the same matchup on Monday Night RAW and re-appeared on the show, later on, attacking Mickie James, Sasha Banks and Bayley. Rumors have it at the moment that she might be the next challenger for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship, however, instead of her series of potentially fatal botches against Charlotte, her chance at a title shot hangs in jeopardy for the time being.
Whatever the case, it is now clear that Jax is a green compared to her fellow performers such as Sasha Banks, Mickie James, Becky Lynch and of course, Charlotte Flair. Nevertheless, this level of recklessness may not go down well with WWE management. However, what calls for concern now is the fact that Jax is inexperienced and could legitimately hurt her fellow performers though thankfully, that was not the case in this matchup and kudos to Charlotte Flair for covering up the error of her co-performer and putting up an excellent performance like she always do.
