The WWE hero and legend has been sight visiting a of the New York hospital amid claims he is set to undergo a major surgical operation.

The undertaker who was 52 year old was reportedly spotted walking into the David H Pavilion Hospital for Special Surgery with wrestling Diva wife Michelle McCool. The legend that spent 27-year in the ring is said to have been putting off painful hip replacement surgery until he called it quit.

His departure from the WWE Company left the fans inconsolable but the fans are still hoping that the Texan toughman could make a comeback seem to have been squashed by the rumors of an imminent procedure.

The four-time WWE champion is renowned for his 1998 Hell in a Cell match – which became the stuff of legend after he came back from the dead having being “buried alive” fighting fierce rival Mankind.

Both wrestling stars earned a standing ovation despite The Undertaker claiming victory using “The Tombstone Piledriver”.

He later revealed how he believed Mankind – aka Mick Foley – had died in the body bout: “I actually thought he was physically broken in half.”
