As we reported earlier, top WWE Superstar “Z-Man” Tom Zenk has passed away; he died at the age at 59-years of age.
According to multiple reports, the cause of his death is yet to be ascertain. The last word we have was from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner saying that the cause of death had yet to be determined.
However, Thomas Erwin Zenk’s passing, better known as Z-Man Tom Zenk has brought a huge shock and weight on the shoulder of pro wrestling as everyone is saddened by the news.
There was very little known about him for over a decade because he kept his life so private. Zenk didn’t do any autograph signings and, through his mother, he turned down several interview requests.
Some fans have wondered what he looked like in recent years. Well, as you can see below, a recent photo was posted on the wall during his funeral service. This would be the last public photo of him. It’s good to see the guy smiling.
Zenk also won the WCW World Six-Man Tag Team Championship with Dustin Rhodes and Big Josh (later known as Matt Bourne/ The Original Doink The Clown) in 1991. Zenk greatest success as a singles star probably came when he defeated Arn Anderson for the WCW World Television Championship to end The Enforcer’s 336-day streak with the title.
Last public photo of the Z-Man from his funeral service. So sad. Really entertaining guy to listen to. RIP Tom Zenk.
