John Cena’s injury has caused the WWE Universe a lot of worry as the injury came at the brink of Royal Rumble and the highly hyped WrestleMania 32. When the news broke last night, everyone was shocked and in some quarters it was regarded as a mere rumor until Cena himself tweeted a confirmation. Also, WWE.com published a note that shut all doubts and place a seal on everyone’s mouth.

The note from WWE.com reveals that nothing much can be said for the 38-year old WWE Superstar who is likely going to be out for an indefinite period of time; probably three to six months.

PWInsider.com reports this about the injury, ““What’s more, the injury is reportedly significant enough — possibly a torn rotator cuff — that he’ll need extensive recovery time.”

If that report holds, it would mean that Cena for the first time since 2003 will be out of WrestleMania. He has been a major player and performer for the last 11 years but for once it seems he won’t make it.

In any case, we should get the full medical details by tomorrow. Therefore, we would know just when Cena would return, if he would make it for WrestleMania 32 or not.
