Late last week, it was reported that Alberto Del Rio has finally been released by the WWE after an agreement between both parties was reached.

Alberto Del Rio returned to WWE last year and defeated John Cena in a hell in a cell match which made him the US champion as at then. Quite unfortunately for the former superstar, his pairing with Zeb Colter, who had been a rival during his previous run and the whole “MexAmerica” angle, fell unsurprisingly flat, and Del Rio wound up losing his momentum then onward.

It is revealed that Del Rio was on a 30 days suspension for violating the company’s wellness policy before finally requesting his release. But his suspension and even release, there have been news that WWE is done with the superstar and so, may not let him renew his contract with them once it expires on October.

After the release of Alberto Del Rio, it was seen that great doors was opened for him as so many other wrestling promotion company were interested to sign him. Reports stated that he has appeared in Ring of Honor and even Lucha Underground.

Observably, TNA is more interested in signing in Alberto Del Rio and with the look of things; Del Rio won’t hesitate to go there because TNA does not fine or suspend talents for drug tests as the superstar uses PEDs, which was the same reason why he violated the WWE Wellness Policy Violation.

Alberto Del Rio will be wrestling for limited and may be retiring on time and this has become a burden to TNA who would like to utilize the former WWE superstar for several promotions. It is worthy to know that Del Rio will not be wrestling with the ring name Alberto Del Rio again instead he would rather be known as Alberto El Patron.
