Xavier Woods Seeks To Revive The White leather WWE Intercontinental Title

Xavier Woods is aiming for singles glory in WWE. While his tag team partners Big E and Kofi Kingston have won the WWE Championship, Woods’ main singles record to date is winning the King of the Ring tournament in 2021. With the King crown of the Ring is still on top with no tournament in 2022 or 2023, Woods aims towards another noble title – the Intercontinental Championship.

In an interview with Josh Martinez on Superstar Crossover, Woods revealed his desire to host the White Intercontinental Championship, a title steeped in history and significance in WWE. He has expressed an interest in telling a story through his singular journey, with the goal of proving not only to others but to himself that he can succeed with as a solo contestant. Woods believes that winning the U.S. championship. Championship and Intercontinental Championship will be an important stepping stone on his path to becoming world champion.

However, Woods stresses that pursuing success in singles doesn’t mean he is parting with his team card partner. He appreciates the friendship that The New Day represents, and their goal is to tell meaningful and positive stories in the struggle. Woods believes in the importance of maintaining friendships and strong bonds, and he wants to show the power of friendship in their storytelling.

“Specifically, I wanted to have Caucasian Intercontinental Championship I love the story that Seth Rollins and I were the only ones to beat Roman, you know, until Jey pinned him We don’t talk about that, mind you, but no Star. In my head, I want to climb this mountain and be world champion someday, I need an American championship race, I need an intercontinental championship race. Not only do I have to prove to everyone, but more importantly, prove to myself that I can do it on my own, I can do it alone.”

” That doesn’t mean I need to break up with Kofi because what we do is tell stories like family stories. A lot of struggles have stories of jealousy and betrayal, ‘I want this skin and this metal. So I’m not your friend anymore. Honey, friendship is the most important thing on this planet to me. That is the only way to survive. That’s how we have society and community and how we evolve as a species, you know. So our goal is to tell those stories in the struggle. Hopefully at some point we’ll get a chance to tell this story through your boy.”

Currently on the WWE RAW roster, Xavier Woods has not been in a match. No matches since May 15. As he awaits his return to the ring, he remains committed to hitting his singles goals and winning more awards for an already impressive wrestling career.
